Being a mother is the biggest blessing and the biggest curse.
Kid sick? Mom and dad at work? Call mom.
Call mom her career doesn't matter.
Mom sick? She better get over it and take care of the kids.
Kids cling to mom? She shouldn't spoil them so much.
Kid does something bad? Watch your kids better.
Kid is dirty after playing outside? I bet she doesn't bath them.
Mom getting sleep deprived? Everyone makes sacrifices.
Mom not working? How dare she complain.
Mom complains or asks for help? How ungrateful...
Mom wants a social life? She should be at home taking care of her kids.
Mom gives up her social life? She is being dramatic.
Mom doesn't clean the house? She's so lazy.
I've had my kids since they were born. Jumping from job to job because I made less than my husband. Being put down and belittled by friends and family who would rather convict than help. I love my kids, I want the best for my kids. I wish I could want the best for me, but I come last above everyone else. I don't have a big happy family ready to help and support me.
I hate myself but I love my kids.
